Your plates are carefully inspected on arrival at our shop in order to document both the type and condition of each individual plate. Defective plates that cannot be re-used are set aside and documented. The remainder move on to the next step
All plates are now pressure washed and steam cleaned to remove any loose debris.
Gaskets are then removed from the plates.
The plates are placed in a chemical solution to remove residual glue deposits and then rinsed thoroughly.
Plates are then submerged in an acid tank to remove any remaining residue.
The plates are rinsed and then dried completely in preparation for flourescent dye penetrant testing.
Each plate is sprayed with a flourescent dye penetrant and is then thoroughly inspected in our UV booth to identify any pinholes or cracks.
Plates are then rinsed, dryed and visually inspected.
Plates are regasketed using only industry specific gaskets.
Plate pack is crated for shipment.
